About
My yoga journey began over a decade ago when I was introduced to and began practicing Bikram Hot Yoga. The competitive nature of Hot Yoga appealed to me, as it harkened back to my childhood and teenage years of competitive gymnastics. I spent quite a few years and thousands of hours in that hot room, sweating, stretching, and learning.

Practicing yoga became an integral part of my daily life. I broadened my experience and explored a wide range of disciplines, including: Hatha Yoga, Forrest Yoga, Vinyasa & Vinyasa Flow, Iyengar and Restorative.

As my interest in and commitment to yoga grew so did my interest in exploring whole foods. I sought to develop a better understanding of how what I put into my body affected my body. Those of you who know me recall my old food blog, circa 2013, and may have a copy of my first self-published cookbook. I am now combining my culinary experience with my Yoga life and offer recipes and cooking ideas on this site for you to enjoy in your home kitchen.

Fifteen+ years of personal practice and instructional education have culminated to the point where I welcome individual or small group classes in my home studio. I also offer private yoga instruction and personalized yoga retreats. Learn more >
